Many physicians and patients have found that treatment with Botulinum Toxin Type A injections have reduced the severity and or frequency of their migraine headaches.
The Journal of head and Face Pain published an article in 2000 stating “Pericranial injection of botulinum toxin type A, 25 U, was found to be a safe treatment that significantly reduced migraine frequency, migraine severity, acute medication usage, and associated vomiting.”
